We are able to design and construct any stable block or field shelter to your specifications, from our basic design through to solid oak clad stables with oak doors, oak posts and rails.
Stables are normally designed on an individual basis to suit their proposed usage, location and any relevant planning restrictions. We have designed and installed stable blocks for local authorities, corporate clients and private customers, each one tailored individually. Stable blocks can incorporate tack rooms, workshops, garages as well as the more usual loose boxes and hay barns, and can be built as a straight run or include a corner unit, or courtyard. We are able to design in materials ranging from softwoods through to complete oak buildings, with a choice of “Onduline” corrugated bitumen, board and felt, cedar shingle or tiled roofs. Standard specs: Walls – 75 x 50 CLS with 16mm x 125mm T&G shiplap cladding.
Roof – prefabricated trusses with 100 x50 CLS purlins covered with maintenance free “Onduline” roofing sheets with galvanised capping.
Lining – lined with 12mm plywood to 1.2m high as standard.
Doors – 2085mm x 1200mm with galvanised anti-chew strips, hinges, latches and kick over bolts
Overhang – over hang is 600, 900 or 1200mm. Supplied complete with front guttering.
We can supply detailed drawings for local authority planning approval and are also able to quote for groundwork and concrete base installation.
We can also offer a range of other materials depending on your requirements and budget.
